Had Ignis known how delightfully industrious Liliana had been in her office that day, he...still would not have left her to her own devices uninterrupted, no. He rather liked to think she would hardly mind the departure from her work, anyway.
And so, there was a light knock, right around the time Liliana would have no doubt been expecting one, anyway, and the door opening a moment later as Ignis slipped in. His inquiring "Liliana?" all but covered up the sound of the door closing and locking behind him, and, in the quiet of the office this week, he just started toward the desk, to set down the lunch and dessert that they'd get to probably much later.
But who could say? Perhaps they actually would manage to satisfy that hunger first for once?
"I believe a little lunch break is order, wouldn't you agree?"
