And it certainly did it well enough that Ignis didn't even feel the slightest compulsion to point out the impracticality of driving as a skill when you lived on an island strictly without cars, not to mention the complete lack of them existing in the planes where your ancillary properties existed.

Which would have been a silly point, anyway, considering this plane, outside of Fandom, certainly was rather automobile-focused.

There was, when she said that which he seemed incapable of, a small sigh of relief, of gratitude, his head tilting toward hers again as he soaked up that laugh and clung to what he wasn't going to allow it to dispel. And then his own laugh, a brief huff of one, but not insignificant, especially for him, and he kissed her again, a lighter one, but one that still lingered a touch longer than he'd expected.

"Plausible deniability?" he suggested as a reason how, and that brought out of him a chuckle, far beyond that faint huff of a moment ago. "But...that said...what good is such a practical skill," oh, she was getting another kiss for that, too, and a little tug of her lower lip in appreciation with his teeth, "if one doesn't put it to good use? Tempting as it may be to dally around here longer, you have also aroused..." And of course he was lingering there on that word, "...my curiosity, my darling."

The next one tumbled out of him with conviction, as if that first epiteth was not nearly enough to do the job and it clearly needed reinforcement.

"My love."

No, no. Still not quite enough.

"My everything."

Said low and slow and deep, because, yes, he knew that game very well himself, and what was it, that she herself had said so recently? They could play these games with each other forever.

(Gods willing).
