It was an undeniably beautiful building, and just learning the layout of the library itself was a labor that could span lifetimes. Fortunately, if Gladio ever wished for help, there were a number of cogwork archivists and cogwork librarians around, as well as several gargoyle assistants about in the stacks themselves, while the front desk was staffed by the Head Librarian, Isabough, a treefolk.

Understanding the layout of the library was much easier when one wasn't limited to a human lifespan, after all.
