Yeeeeah, the concept of an afterlife in Magic: The Gathering was weird. You didn't really wanna think too hard about it in the same way you didn't wanna think too hard about what was holding you up as you ran off a cliff in a Looney Tunes cartoon.

She still looked like she didn't really understand the point of it all, but also like she was certain that was not the right thing to say. "But there are people dying every day," she said instead. "Hundreds, thousands. This plane has more people in it than I've ever heard of. How are you not mad?"
