Liliana's Office, Thursday

All the prep work done for her final, save actually programming it into the Danger Shop - hmm, perhaps she should tap Prompto for his assistance with that, wouldn't want another plant defense fiasco - was mapped out and planned for, including a literal map. She was pleased with it, whether or not her students would be was a different story.

Rather than continue to poke at that, she'd turned her attention to creating a syllabus and outline for her next class. She really ought to return to Innistrad to collect some of her old books and notes and the like, but that could wait a bit. She was writing up what she could now and making notes of places she'd needed to revisit once she had access to more materials.

And she was humming, of course. Look, this was exactly the kind of thing she loved. Fucking nerd.

[And now NSFW!]

"Almost anytime," Ignis corrected, with a bit of a daring grin that seemed to just dare her to nip again in retaliation, once again allowing his penchant for pedantry reign supreme of his sense of self-preservation. "But, yes, I can think of at least a few occasions where my attention might be better served elsewhere, but, I assure you, they are very few and far between, and certainly not even remotely present now."

Which meant all that attention could be put right back into kissing her again, with one hand on the desk to steady himself as he leaned into it, and the other lifting to cradle Liliana's cheek.

Sometimes, the truly impossible thing was actually knowing which clever retort to volley back at Liliana, but, well, the nice thing was that he could just continue kissing her while making such an important decision, leaning in that much more to allow him to duck his head and find her jawline with his lips, and then her neck, his hand falling away from her face to brush her shoulder and determine what, if any, details of her current attire that day would have to be taken care of, if any, to clear it.

"And lightning," he pointed out, punctuating it with a kiss on her neck, "and ice." This one with a bite of his own on that shoulder his hand had been drifting over, and then back, again, to her and her lips. "Can you blame me? When you make the game too enticing to resist?"

Well, was Liliana expecting for that single word to ignite that fire within Ignis that was almost almost at a constant burn, to cause it to flare and move him with the sudden drive to close any gap between them, with a soft, hungry (almost grateful, really) groan against her lips as his hand abandoned the desk for support and sought it, instead, in an arm wrapped around her waist as he pulled her in close.

If so, then her choice of word was very clearly effective, and he was leaving no room for doubt in that regard. And when his lungs were finally screaming out for a breath, he pulled away to draw it in, and then let it out with a low, deep growl that he felt resonate from his entire chest.

"Mine."

And he ducked his head to nuzzle into her neck, with more quick bites and soothing kisses and a roving hand to best stake that claim.

"Desk," Ignis murmured out, before Liliana had even finished informing him of the third option, and, ever the man of his word, confirmed this decision with the necessary shifting, turning her toward it so he could lift her up onto it. Leaning forward into a kiss, between her legs, hands sliding against her thighs to keep those gathered skirts hitched up, thumbs feeling out for other obstructions needing to be taken care of post haste.

He would have liked to have lingered there and teased a little more, but his expediency in the removal of her undergarments, the last few buttons on his shirt, his trousers, would be made abundantly clear when he pushed himself back into Liliana, kissed her, and growled out two more words.

"Then chaise."
